Which instruments can play it
A keyboard has every note, so it can play any scale in any key. An instrument tuned to a fixed set of notes cannot, and this is where that shows.
The note rows behind those answers are on each instrument's own repertoire page, along with what the tuning costs in real songs. The shortest version: a guzheng reaches four octaves and plays ten melodies out of a hundred, and not one refusal is about range.
